Question for Forum Administrator
I want to adhere to posting rules, but need a clarification regarding messages with "OT" in the title.
What kind of OT message are allowed in this forum? For example, my thread on "what kind of a car would you have if there were no Porsches" got moved (to where I don't know, because I couldn't find it, but not so important). The , thread on buying a Dodge truck, which has nothing to do with Porsches ,has not been moved.
Could you please explain your reasoning? I can't quite follow the logic.

Many threads here are OT - some more than others. Now I can only speak for what I do, but if it is not offensive, seems to be related to Porsches (esp 993's) and is not reported, then they generally stay. If I get a few reports, then they get zapped if they are not 993 related. And when they get moved, there is still a link to it in the 993 topic list.
As far as the truck thread, yes it was pretty far off topic but got a lot of participation and quickly evolved into a towing discussion that many were interested in. No one complained - Would you like that moved from here?

I think what Phil was asking was why was it moved to the Abyss and not Off Topic were it could have kept on going. Did I miss something offensive in it that caused it to go into the Abyss? Hope He doesn't take it personally.....
