I want to replace my bumpers with the Euro style, especially the turbo version for the front. Gert tells me that if I want amber (US) turn indicators, I must get the US style bumper for the front. I see that Robin and others have clear turn indicators on cars in the US.
Has anyone had a legal problem due to the clear signals instead of the amber on a car driven daily?

No problems as long as you install the amber bulbs. I had them on my M3 for 5 years and was stopped on several occasions for no front tag and never once did they question the clear lenses.

You shouldn't have any problem as long as you use amber bulbs. I'm using hyper-white to give a cleaner look (IMO). ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

clear lenses are more elegant but if you want to get rid of the black bumperettes but stay with an amber lens - that's also possible. None of the ROW cars had the bumperettes and only the c4's, c4s's and Turbos had the clear lenses oe.
