Post Supercharged 993 - My first contribution

Hi Guys,

I've been lurking here for some time figuring I didn't have anything to contribute - since I don't own a Porsche yet. I've picked up a lot of invaluable information (thank you all) - some of which has made deciding on what car to buy even tougher; this board makes every 993 sound soooo good!

Anyway - I just realized I'm guilty of taking advantage of your (and John's) hospitality without returning anything. So I am sending in my membership to John as I write this and I thought I'd share this link I saw on e-bay.

Turbo Performance is evidently selling their '95 993 Supercharged cover car.

Supercharged 993 on ebay

I hope I did that correctly.

Greg

Cecil,

Any reason why they are selling the car? Are they going to turn yours into the show car???

Guys I'm confused. A 3.6 cup car makes 250 or 260 Flywheel hp. Thom Fitzpatrick claoms 300 w/ a chip & filter on his 3.6. Now we have 320 at the wheel. If we apply the same proportions to my 928 I should have 384.47 hp w/ my cip & filter. And lord help us all if I bolt on an S-Trim. That should equate to 481.88 hp. Anybody believin' that?

Sounds like fun - maybe I need to spend a Saturday at his shop over the winter.

Take Care,
