Steve,
If you really drive a Porsche you don't need a center armrest (2 hands on the steering wheel please) Also, may not be good for resale. Good luck whatever you do.

I have it and find it highly annoying. You can't really shift when it is down and it is kinda bulky. Mine also has an attachment for a Startac phone inside which connects to a hands free mic perched above the sunroof/hazard button console. Was gonna remove and scrap the thing this weekend until I was reading Panorama and saw these advertised for $495. May try to sell it on ebay.......In my opinion, you should be using two hands with these cars and I have plenty of comparable storage space in the door bins.

I was curious as to if it would get in the way of shifting, nothing worse than making arm adjustmenst when trying to grab a gear at speed. I was considering one because I do a lot of highway driving. The forum comments lead me to believe I would be better off without. Heading down the highway..... Steve

Pookee's black Bird armrest now lives in my car. I enjoy it, as do my passengers. It does not interfere w/my shifting although to be extra safe I push it back out of the way for DEs. In black, at least, it's a perfect match.
If you'll be at Gateway in July you can take a look, a test drive and make up your own mind if it's for you.
