Way OT: Impala SS
Hey guys,
I am thinking about getting a 96 IMpala SS (Last year of rear wheel drive) as a daily commuter. I drive about 5 minutes a day to the bus stop. I would still keep my 993TT as a weekend driver (currently with 10.6 k miles) and use the Impala as a daily driver/errand vehicle. What do you think,a 96 with about 55k miles will run me about $11k-$12k. Just a thought

didnt the SS have a 454 installed? Not sure how much you are worried about fuel mileage, but maybe something to think about?
Of all the 'newer' domestic's out there, these are actually pretty cool cars. Maybe collectable some day..

I sure see those around and in great shape...GM finally got it right and then quit making them. I think they had the corvette small block 350 and the rest of the car looks right (for the big 'merican car').
I think it would be a cool car to have but as Chris said, there are lots of cars to choose from these days!
