Hey guys-

Does anyone know the OEM manufacturer of the door/ deck speakers in a 96' C4S?.

I didn't know enough about these cars when i purchased mine so I never asked the PO about them.

The door speakers are JL Audio, (which I'm fairly certain aren't original since JL is a US company).

I'm wondering if the rears were also replaced, the grills look stock with no markings.

I think they stock speakers are Nokia

the speakers are nokia - although there are two setups. do you have the hifi speaker option. if yes it looks like 3 speaker grills on each door (including the tweeter). if you do have the hifi option then it is not just a set of speakers but this entire plastic speaker enclosure as well.

as a side note, they suck - so you won't miss them. i replaced mine and sold them on ebay.

Thanks. No, I don't have the hi-fi option. I do not have an amp and the door speakers are 5-1/2" rounds with a seperate tweeter.

Hi Mike-I believe I'm the former owner of the car-we chatted on the phone a few weeks ago. I replaced the original speakers (in the front doors only) due to a cracked speaker. The replacements sounded much better than the originals!
