Chuck,

What type of tail do you have, looks like you have a RS spoiler/splitter on the front and regular tail on rear. I just recently had a discussion about that type of setup, that is why I ask.

Thanks,

Chuck

Am I the only one who put a ducktail on a 993 in the whole planet?

Hawk,

My car has the factory aerokit I package. The splitters are slightly different than the RS ones. Have the factory wing (from the aerokit-doesn't show in my avatar). I am looking to 'tone it down' a bit with the ducktail.

Thanks,
chuck

I have one of the original group-buy ducktails and will also sell it cheap to anyone who wants to give it a good home. I ended up trading my street 993 for a 993 racecar and didn't need it.

JC, you may be the only one given the responses here.

Hmmm... are any of these neglected duckies still sitting around?

John, have you ever had a cooling problem running your ducktail?
I thought the reason the factory came up with the mechanical wing was to give the engine the cooling it needs at high speed.

I guess that's my only concern.
If someone has one laying around give me a shout!

Sorry for the late response on this. So far no cooling problems, both street and mild track, in all kinds of weather.

JC-

Where did you get the Silver "Carrera" side lettering? Does it come in any other color combinations?

Thanks!

you know, at first i didn't much like that duck tail, but now it is starting to grow on me; it manages to be both outlandish and understated at the same time.

I make the graphics myself. I'll probably change the color at some point just for variety. Maybe red next?
