Weird... In the 993 forum thread list, the title of this thread appears as "Which Sirius Antenna For New Panasonic MP3 Player?"
But when I click the link, the thread title changes to "New Gear ****"
EDIT: my reply seems to have reset the title to be correct

I have just changed my own gearknob which is very easy to do 993Chaz provided me with these instructions.

quote:
As far as the change over goes its pretty simple. The most difficult part is getting the shifter boot to seal up properly under the console. Its almost impossible without taking the console completely out. Theres 6 small screws to take out, 2 rear, 2 under ebrake handle then 2 more under the 2 small plastic panels that house the central locking buttons and things. Be sure that when you re-fit the boot, that you snap the side in with the 2 brass clips last. Apart from that its really simple.

The actual gearknob is simply a pushfit onto the gear lever.
You will also find useful instructions in the DIY section at Robins site at p-car.com
Gert supplies a great range of gearshifts at carnewal.com
Here is a picture of the finished job C4S Gearshift ****
Hope this helps.
