Post Who said prices are falling??( Turbo S)

Just back from Westmont Porsche (dealer). Picking up some little parts and lo and behold, sitting in the showroom, a 94 slant nose Turbo S, and get this 867 miles. The car had the factory special wishes slant nose option (looks just like a 993) with pop up headlights. The salesperson told me the slant nose was a 60K factory option.
Guards Red with tan interior. I was told M. Jordon had ordered the car new, changed his mind and a local collector bought it and never drove it. The dealer is asking 136,000.00 on behalf of the seller who is in line to get a GT 1. I wish I had my camera although at that price, I think it may be there for a while.

RPM in Texas had a flachbau like you describe (see http://www.flachbau.com) for sale for the last couple of years - I think they were asking around $100k for it. I just checked and it's no longer on their website - they must have sold it.

If I'm correct, only 27 or 29 of those cars made it to North America. To the right collector, the price is irrelevant.

The link above had a parentheses in it... here is the corrected link: http://www.flachbau.com/home.htm

Funk-ayyyyy.
To each his own. If I had $136k, I think I would get a 993 Turbo S and have lots left over for repairs, OR a 2003 996 TT .

It's an odd bird, that 94 Turbo S.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just quite, quite unusual looking.

Thanks for posting that link to the pics. Very interesting Porsche.

I learn something new each month on here.

Steve
