I was at an area Porsche dealership a week or so ago and I got to look this machine over:

29K miles, excellent paint, superb black interior, very clean and detailed - $38,900

With all the recent buyers post's titled "Finally, I bought mine!" I figured someone may be looking, so I gave it the once over.

Its a winner.

Yup,

The car is at Isringhausen in Illinois.

I found it to be a nice machine while I was there getting the wife something...

In fact, here is a shot of me driving home the new "wife mobile."

Holy crap ... when I was in high school, my band shared a bill with Twisted Sister at the Rising Sun in Yonkers NY. This was, obviously, before they had a hit. Why the club owner booked some teenagers who played a lot of Grateful Dead music and a few originals with a budding 80s hair band, I'll never understand. They did a set, we did a set, they did a set and we closed it out. In between our sets, we went to another bar that had 10 cent drafts and 50 cent kamikazes that night. Sixteen people paid to get in. We all made four bucks apiece. Rock and roll!
