Here is mine from this morning:

I took the car in for the oil change (I may start DIYing this one myself from now on as I have tackled some tougher ones) and the guys were admiring my PSS9 install. They were wondering about the rear sway bar install as they have done 4 PSS9s but the last one was on a Turbo with RS bars. The bar below the suspension arm didn't look right to them. I of course had the knowlege of a bunch of experts here and wealth of experience to assure them that this was the right way to install the bar. On the lift, the rear bar hangs lower than when the car is on the ground. After they put the car on the ground, they looked under and the bars was tucked up nice and neat. They said they have to get the turbo back in and get the bar installed for the guy!

Absolutely right!!

It's great to go wheel shopping when you know all of the measurements, offsets, etc that you want because you've already seen what it looks like on the same 993 model and how it would get affected with my new suspension... gotta love it!!

Seriously, you know Rennllist is great when you post a thread asking for a certain part number and 5 guys answer you within 10 minutes!

I don't have time to list all the reasons. But I'll throw one out.

You know Rennlist is great when you are installing your suspension and/or seats and/or restraints and you post for help and you get a reply within 10 minutes then a lister gives you thier home phone and walks you through a problem. You apologise after your fourth call in four hours and he/she says "Don't worry about it, its no bother at all" and you know they mean it.

I could not own my car without this forum.

Just seeing the testimonials in this thread is a reason to love Rennlist. The confidence I gain knowing that others' have had their questions answered makes me look forward to many happy years of 993 ownership and problem solving. I'm not much of a DIYer (yet), but I know that once I get to that slippery slope, I won't be there alone ... there will be lots of you to push me right on over! Actually, I have already solved a couple of problems thanks to y'all. Like: that moaning when making a sharp left turn? Yep, it's low power steering fluid ... and I knew to plan ahead and get a fancy funnel with a tube attached to get to the fluid to the impossibly-located filler.

Then you throw in Adrienne and free unmentionables (for the car or not) ... what's not to love?

Loving it all; became a member this week.
