Default Need wiring help to manually raise Power Window

My driver's side passenger window switch broke and blew the fuse. Both windows failed to raise. Replaced the fuse and the driver's window goes up but can't raise the passenger window from the passenger side switch. Must be interlocked in some fashion. I will order a new switch (964 613 621 00 existing part number).

Question is, can someone tell me if I can jumper any of the poles on the switch connection to raise the window. It's mighty warm in NC in July to ride around with the window down.

The switch and matching connector have five poles. Wasn't sure if I could jumper two and raise the window. Anybody care to risk reading a wiring diagram.

Thanks.

Keith

The switches for the passenger side are wired together, so you'll need working switches on both doors. I've heard of (and witnessed firsthand) people swapping the working driver's side switch for the non-working passenger switch to get a working pair on the passenger circuit, thereby allowing the passenger window to be raised. Then you can order the new switch at your leisure.

Thanks for the info. Evidently this is not an uncommon problem because the local dealer had four instock!
