Wink Tire Wear I have the solution, no seriously..:-)

I just replaced the rear tires on my 97 C4 Cab and the fronts still have 7/32 of thread. I have the solution and I am going to give it to the tire manufacturers for free. BTW I have the same problem with my motorcycles.
Here it is, no charge.

Make the rear tires from the same rubber compound as the fronts and we will get double the mileage.

Hope everyone had a great summer.

LAT,

You'd better lay off the Moosehead, or Labatt's, or Molson...

Better yet, drive in reverse. This way you'll pick up all that rubber you scrubbed off and redeposit it on the tires!

(JEEEEEEZZZZZ!!! Sure you're not smoking those funny "cigarettes" that make you say "Oh, wow, man!!!!" a lot?)

I only talk that way when I inhale, otherwise I'm fine, really...
