Post Stainless Door Sill Stains

Anyone have any suggestions on properly removing and keeping clean stainless door sills. I have the tequipment sills from Gert and have been unable to remove unsightly water spots/stains. I reluctant to try any chemical agents without some advice. FYI: Still trying to sell my '96 993 to get into the 993TT, has the market gone soft... My asking price is $40,500 for a 48k mile car? Regards, Steve

Hey guys, Thanks for the support. By the way the soda water works great especially with a little gin and squeeze of lime..... Don't worry I'm not driving, just appreciating the lines of the 993.
Enjoy the rest of the weeekend, Steve

3M makes an excellent stainless cleaner. It should be available at your local supermarket! Apparently olive oil works too......
