Well, I have had the GT2 style brace from Gert at Carnewal Europe fitted for a week now and my origional expectations have been more than met. (so did Gert - ordered Friday lunchtime - arrived Monday afternoon (Belgium to the UK) - well done!

I have a Targa, so stiffness is a "good thing" to stop the roof rattling (honest!) and the effect has been worth the 200 Euros it cost. -It is less prone to rattles.

I had thought - in common with some other Rennlisters - that the car would be stiff enough anyway to make no difference to the handling - I was wrong.

A particularly bumpy off-camber bend locally which previously made the chassis feel nervous, now is totally different. The car feels more planted on the road and seems to need less steeing input over the bumps.

If you have a Targa - just get a strut brace as one of the first upgrades!
