One door will no longer lock
I've been having the problem that my remote will no longer set the alarm or lock the doors on my '97. When I click the remote, my left door locks, and then after a second or so the horn sounds and it unlocks itself. I read through the manual and after investigating a little further, determined that the reason it does so is that the right door will not lock at all any more. It doesn't make the "thunk" noise, either when you use the remote or when you hit the lock switch in the console. The alarm system must be detecting that it didn't lock right and thus cancelling the attempt to arm the system.
Has anyone had any experience with this sort of failure? Any BTDT's on how to fix it.
Thanks for any help you can render.

Well, I finally got around to taking the right door apart to see if I could fix it. After I got to the actuator, it was acting like it had a bad connection (worked sometimes, sometimes not). I took it all the way out, and worked the rubber-booted connector off. It certainly didn't look like anything was amiss, but when I put it back together it started working every time. Not too difficult of a job, and cost $0.
