Question Wheel Fitment

I know this has been discussed before and is on Robins site, but I could not find anything on the following size:

Will a 9.5x18 ET40 fit on the rear of a narrowbody 993? If not, will spacers help or rolling the fender?

I am looking at putting 265's on them.

David:

The rear wheel will stick out by 1/2 inch and depending on what negative camber setting you have, it may not even stick out that much.

Are you getting tired of the B&B Triflo yet?

Those wheels (not tyres) will be ~30 mm more out than stock wheels, you propably could check and take some measurements and find out.

If you compare this wheel with the factory 10" x 18" ET65 version, it will stick out another 18.5 mm (~3/4") but the inside edge will be fine. I would guess that you don't have room under those fenders except, as Ron says, if you have a lot of negative camber. Unless you can test fit them, I would stay away from these wheels.

It's gonna be close, 10" wheels with 52 ET work but these are 5.5 mm more out...

Thank you for all of the responses. These wheels are from a 996 and are out of state, so I will not be able to try them first.

They are a terrific price for great wheels that I was looking to potentially put some track tires on. At such a great price, it is tempting to try and if I don't like the fit I guess I could just try to sell them.

Note that I have about 1.5 deg's of negative camber in the rear. I have tried measuring and you are all correct that it would be a tight fit. I just added 3/4" to my existing wheels (10x18 ET65 Turbo wheels).
