I'm about to buy my first porsche! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
My wife is insiting that I find a good shop nearby before buying. Any one have any suggestions?

 

I don't know how good they are but Park Porsche - currently in Lawrence, MA - is moving to Nashua at exit 5 on Route 3 in late September. They have been sponsors of the Porsche Club of NE and some of their events. I have no personal experience with them.

If you are in southern NH, there are also several good Porsche shops in the north shore of Mass in the Danvers, Glouchester area.

Try the Porsche NE web site and they may be more ideas there.

Net, net - assure your wife there are several GOOD shops in the area. (and they will graciously take your hard earned $$ if you offer.)

Now, go get the car!

Try PRecision Imports in Manchester. I had a PPI done there previously and they seemed very good and knowledgable. They were recommended to me by several PCA reps.
