Production data
In reviewing the certificate of origin on my 1997 993TT, I noticed a release date of July 31, 1997. I haven't found an actual manufacturing date.
As I understand it, German automotive production ends in July. Therefore, I am wondering if my car might be one of the last non-S 993TTs produced.
My pertinent data is: VIN WP0AC2992VS375991, Engine #61V02399, Transmission #2007899.
Does anyone have information (e.g. from Paternie's 911 Red Book) that might help in this regard? Thanks in advance for your help.

OK, I feel like a dork for answering my own question
, but I just found the following serial # data at Robin's as-always-helpful site:
911 TURBO COUPE 97: 70061>73000
911 TURBO COUPE (USA/CDN) 97: 75061>76000
911 TURBO COUPE (BR) 97: 79801>79999
To my eyes, that would make my car, serial #75991, the ninth-to-last 993TT made for the US & Canadian market. Am I interpreting this correctly?
I want to thank anyone who posts a reply to this thread for reducing the appearance of Rennlist board "masturbation".

The manufacturing month of your vehicle is stamped on the compliance sticker in your driver's door jamb. It is a black sticker with a bar code. The month/date such as 05/97 is stamped in the right upper corner.
1045 MY '97 Turbo and Turbo S cars were produced for north America. The number of S models has always been a question mark but is believed to be under 200.

I don't know why but this does not agree with Robin's info on his site.
