Yes, Robin. The split rear spoiler grille only came on the C2S.

Great shot of a split grill. Is the split grill always painted the same color as the rest of the car? Just curious.

Yes,

Normally, they are all painted the same as the car unless it has been modified.

Cool

Funny, I have been in this dealership at Northwest Investment cars in Beaverton, Oregon. I should have just gone in there on my way to work and looked at this car.

Thanks for the photo, I wonder if I can find one of those split grills for my 993C2 in Polar silver?

There are a number of places you can buy the split grille and then paint it to code for your car. In your case, Polar Silver.

Check with Gert, I'm sure he sells the split grille.

The Porsche part number is 000 044 800 98, here it costs fl. 660, which is about $ 260, but you must add the cost of fitting and painting...It looks neat though!

I also saw one with the 'louvre' part in shiny stainless steel look, it looked great!
Sorry, I've got no picture...

I would suggest looking in the classifieds at Rennlist or even posting a wanted add. When I bought my car it came with an Aerokit tail and I like my cars to be as close to factory original as possible so I put an add and got several replies. I ended up buying from a Rennlister who sold me the entire reardecklid including the split grill for $ 600.00 and it was already the color of my car so I didn't even have to have it painted.
Anyway I like the split grill better as whell but $ 260.00 plus the cost to paint it sounds a bit stiff for a litlle flimsy piece of plastic!
