Recently, I've been considering eliminating the front bumper warts by installing a European bumper (like Jack's 993TT below).



I've come across a "rear body filler panel" by Tech-EFX for $695 that appears to accomplish the same goal for the rear bumper without actually replacing the bumper. http://www.tech-efx.com/catalog.html

Their ad states: "Eliminates those after-thought rear bumpers. Sold pre-painted with sikkens factory color match system. Requires rear bumper cover removal for installation."

Does anyone have experience with this product? Any rear bumper alternatives?

I just noticed Brian's rear bumper post below. What is the part number for the Euro rear bumper for the 993TT? Gert?

The euro twin turbo rear bumper cover part number is 993 505 411 02, the US version twin turbo rear bumper cover is 993 505 411 03

For the 993 wide body, I offer a Euro bumper package that includes a turbo front and rear bumper cover, clear turn signals and the front seals and rivets. Of course, these are all factory parts and everything you need to change your car into the European version of the 993TT.
