Default 2S Split Grill Paint Options?

Has anyone done them not painting all one color? Other than the Vesuvio cars I'd love to see if anyone has done the split grill and done the grills a separate color than the surround.

It's your lucky day.

I painted mine gunmetal gray, and on the glossier side of satin. I mixed the color myself, as most grays have a hint of brown, which would compliment Arctic silver, but as my car is Polar silver it needed more of a blue tint.

But it depends where the light is coming from on the effect, and how sunny. All three photos are of the grill painted the same color.

Hi HamHands,
On my car with the fixed factory Aero wing, the not-split grill section is black plastic, not painted. The car pictured above seems to have black grill louvers.

it sounds really lame, but it's difficult to photograph - above photo the car is in the shade but on a sunny day - the gloss paint on the grill really 'picks up' the indirect sunlight, as does the Polar silver

and here in the garage but on a cloudy day..... makes the car look more like Arctic silver!!

This visual display of mine isn't going well

Split grill is so aesthetic. I simply love it! Looks nice on a non S as well.
