Default Lowering options w/ this set up?

Hey all, just got my twist rims on and naturally want to get the stance right.

Took a look in the well and service records for the car and it looks like the PO put Bilstein struts and some type of “HR Sport Springs”.

Any suggestions for a spring that could get the height (especially in the front) down a bit and keep the struts?

otherwise looking at a lightly pre owned set of KW V3s instead.

Would appreciate any input. Attaching pics of the car + inside the well in case I’m missing something. Thanks in advance!

Isn't there a load of thread spare on that strut, just to do what you want?

I looked the part numbers up and didn’t see anything about them being adjustable. That would be ideal, anyone know?

If you have threads available below the spring, lower it yourself and get a four-wheel alignment after.

Tons of threads showing in your pic.

Take it to a suspension shop that knows what they’re doing, they can lower the car, adjusting each strut while making sure corner weights are correct, then do a 4-wheel alignment.

Decades ago I had the wrong shop lower my new ‘82 SC, after that it drove weird and terrible. Corner weights were all messed up. Essentially, that means two diagonal wheels are supporting more than other two.

Since your car’s height looks obviously wrong, it’s reasonable to assume that whoever installed the springs and struts didn’t do a great job. So you can’t assume the corner weights are correct.

Here are the corner weights and heights (measured to top of wheel well opening, I think) on my C4, lowered about to euro (ROW) specs.
