Post Driver side door is not flush with the body when closed

compared to other side's. It seems to shut tight and no rattling or makes any sound when driving. Is it something i can adjust? I hope the previous owner didn't have an accident.

Thanks.

Probably just a latch adjustment, Did the same thing on y 86 cab, just adjusted the door latch and it was fine. I also assume it is the just the trailing edge.

I adjusted my striker plate, the stationary part attached to the body, so that the hinge would make a closer fit. When this did not work perfectly, I bought a new striker plate $65. The door fits perfectly now, but the window at the top is still letting in minor air noise, compared to the passenger side. Body shop says 3.5 hrs labor to remove door panels to adjust window so it fits tight at the top. I have not done it yet, because the engine noise and new suspension have mitigated the wind noise.

Sorry for the lack of detail. You all guessed it right though. It's the outer end. I'll adjust both the latch and the plate (on the body).

Thx everyone

I was briefly playing with the door latch by loosen up the 2 screws. The whole latch didn't seem to be adjustable. You guys adjusted your from these 2 screws or behind the door panel?

Thx

I would not mess with the latch. I think all the adjustment you need is in the striker plate.
