I am in the process of modifying my suspension to M030 (thanks Gert!) and suspect I have found another vintage add on. AutoNorm! appears to be an alarm system of sorts, but a bit unclear if it was Porsche 'approved' or just after-market garbage. I no longer have a radio (removed as not needed with the RSR and sport cats (thanks again, Gert) - and would just as soon get rid of this, but a bit nervous when dealing with electrical components... Any thoughts or guidance would be much appreciated before I start yanking wires.

Can you trace the black wire harness and see where it goes? What happens when you turn the unit upside down? It looks like thats the alarm horn/speaker.

If I remember correctly, there is a narrow road you can access at the bottom of the stairs to the Catedral? Carrer de la Forca?

There must be dozens of other locations.

Good idea. Hopefully they'll have the simple 'delete' plan. Trying to avoid creating parasitic loss issues and clean up the wiring - including removal of the small motion detector 'speakers' at the lower corners of the windows.

I tend to avoid the city in the 993...Spanish parking with active use of 'bumpers', etc. The roads west and north of Girona are fantastic - and get better as you go west.
