Spark Plugs
The plugs I ordered from Pelican for my 993 C2, are Bosch, PN 999-170-183-90, type FR 5 DTC (stamped on plug) 3 electrodes, Gap 0.8mm. The p-car site states the gap should be 0.07mm. But I ordered the same part # listed on Robin's site. Are these ok to use ?? TIA

Workshop manual says:
Spark plug gap mm (in) 0.7 + 0.1 (0.026 + 0.004)
I guess that means 0.8 mm. It doesn't say anything like .7 mm +or- .1 mm
If I recall the plugs you have are gapped when made at .8 mm, doesn't it say that on the box? I really don't know how to regap plugs with more than one side electrode and I'd be interested in hearing how it's done. I suppose you need a special tool.

Thought would be gap them to 0.7mm. As they wear they'll open up. I don't see why a regular gapping too won't work; should fit in between the side of the center electrode and the ground lead. THink that's what I did; no problems in 30K miles as I remember.
