Post P-Zero question

I have decided for the time being to change my 17" tires to the P-Zeros which I had before on my 968 and was very pleased with them. I thought of going the Pilot Cup way since at a certain point I will plunge for these RS 18" for the street but as I figure out this will be along way from now so till then and with a DE approaching in July I have to order the P-Zero's. Having read Viken's posts regarding the difference between the N1.N2 designations etc it is clear to me that the N2 tire as I can find it on Ti.... (sorry not a rennlist sponsor)is the one for my 993. But my dillema is as follows:

reading the recommended configurations it says that for dry/track use I should mount Assymetrico's on both ends. Then it says that for mixed use and for rear/mid engine cars it is recommended Direzionale's on the front Assymetrico's on the back. Finally looking at the tires sizes etc the only matching N2 spec is direzionale on the front and Assymetrico on the back. The only assym fronts are N1's but I want to put 225/45 in the front and there is no N designation for this size in assym.

So what do you think? having in mind that I drive mostly in the dry and I will use them on DE's should I stick with assym's front and rear or should I stick with the Porsche N2 combo???

Danny, I would stick to the specified size and type of tire for our cars: 225/40 on a PZero Assimetrico.

Matt, I'm not running 18" wheels just 17" so I wanted to go a size up in the front as per the numerous threads I have read on this board.
My question is which option to install keeping in mind mostly dry and track use?

1.225/45/17F assym & 255/40/17R assym (N2)
or
2.225/45/17F direzionale (N2)& 255/40/17R assy(N2)

Thanks for your help.

Danny
#1 since (A) Asimmetrico F&R is the oem configuration & I assume Porsche engineers know what they're doing and (B) Direzionales may be marginally better in the rain, but they give up dry performance to do it.

Thank you Matt and Dan for your replies and clearing up the matter;
I was confused as reading the recomendations on that site I was under the impression that the direzionales in the front and assymetricos in the rear was the OEM configuration.
