New Mobil 1 15W50. Can it be mixed with the old one?
I don't know how new it is but they were both on the shelf. The new one is something like
"SuperSyn" and the old one is the "Trysyn" I think. I have no idea which one was put on my engine. I bought and added the old one anyway (I know, why ask now?)
How critical is it to put too much oil? My oil level gauge, at idle, is no longer at horizontal but up at 2 o'clock position now.

Thx, I checked the dip stick and it showed 2/5 below the max line (2/5 of 1.8 quart per manual), so I calculated and added 0.7 quart. I guess I'll check again with the dip stick.
