Default Route for wire through fire wall…?

All…could someone suggest where the most sensible location through the fire wall would be to run a power wire from the battery for a new subwoofer underneath the passenger seat?

Thank you very much.

There is an opening above passenger foot panel where the main harness runs between below the fuse box and into the interior below the dash , it’s relatively sealed but a small wire should be able to get pushed through in that area or even more easily where front hood cable runs to the bottom left of gas tank above pedals there’s a grommet that should allow room for a wire or two …Bert

Routing across the under dash and frunk wall (back to fuse box) would be a long wire path for your purpose, but there is an easy path from the frunk by the left side hood hinge into the dash (remove a gauge or two to access it from the dash side - used this path for AIM gauge harness). Not sure if the same space is on the right side, but if so from the frunk side, it then may require pulling glove box to get to it from passenger compartment.

Hi Overdraft,
There is a grommet in the firewall up high in the passenger footwell/ However there are continuously powered circuits under the seat. One is for the NoKia power amp and the other is for the heated seats even if the seats have no heat, I believe is powered by a 25 amp fuse in the Frunk fuse box, with plenty of power for a sub. I suggest you use one of these. Here are pages that touch on this:

https://993servicerepair.blogspot.co...q=heated+seats

Also, consider a bass recovery digital signal processor (DSP) to avoid using the limited cabin space for a sub:

Andy :-)
