Default Windshield Washer Fluid Drain

Done a little search on the forum but haven't found anything that specifically address draining the washer fluid from the reservoir. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Marc

Well, you can pump it all out with the squirters or pull the tank and dump it out. Open the sender hole and it should dump all out. It's not hard to get the tank out. Drivers side wheel well.

If your headlight washers work, they'll drain the tank pretty quick.

lol...so the reason for the drainage is I inadvertently started pouring a 50/50 mix of antifreeze into the reservoir (grabbed the wrong bottle- seemed like a good idea - stopped pretty quickly - hoped to avoid the laughter from the forum ). Rather than see what happens to the paint when I hit the washers, I think it would be a better idea to drain the reservoir first (the light came on earlier).

If not mistaken, the reservoir is the same as the 964. It can be found in the driver side front wheel well. Just remove the drivers wheel and the fender liner and you will see the tank. At the bottom of the tank is a white drain plug.

Here is a picture of the reservoir on my 964. You can see the drain plug at the bottom. It just unscrews.
