John D. Next Rumble @ The Racers Group??
John D. this just hit me after last weekend, Do you think TRG would host us for a BBQ for our next Rumble?? Fallish/sept maybe?? Since it would be in Sonoma maybe the NoCal guys would stand a better chance of showing up!! We could discuss what we could do next year for LeMans and we could buy lots of TRG goodies and clothing and look at the cars for sale!! I mean after all we are a sponsor right! My wife would be better about it if we could meet some of the guys! ( giving money next year that is) Shes a real pushover in person!! We could pay for the BBQ like Brian did this last time. Maybe you and Jenn could fly out with Mother Superior and her husband, along with any other Long distant

OG: You realize your request and Kim's suggestion are mutually exclusive? TRG is at Sears Point not Laguna Seca.
It would be nice to "rumble" at an actual track day. Think of the bragging rights to be gained.

That would be the whole point of going to TRG.
We can always meet at a track day those happen quite
abit. SPonsoring a LeMans car has only happened once in
my whole life!

Sorry for the delayed reply to this thread - but - I've been wrestling with the Forum server most of the day - and I'll be damned if it isn't winning..
Anyway - YES!!! I'd be happy to help coordinate this - and keep me posted on a tenative date/agenda, OK? I have no problem at all calling Kevin - BUT - we've discussed something like this in the past, and I believe the "open invitation" from TRG is still "open"..
Also - I'd have to check on flights/cost. I need to make it to the West Coast at some point and meet many of you who has done so much for this site. While I'm "cost sensitive" - I think if we buy them far enough in advance - it could only be a few hundred per ticket....

I predict a large turn out of the So Cal group. I'll be sporting all of my HWFMR gear and need some TRG/HWFMR gear to go with it.
Since TRG did not end up on the potium, I assume there standing with the organization is solid and we should all gather to celebrate and mark the occasion with shirts and hats that reflect and commerate this hopfully lasting affiliation.
Can't wait for the details, and am prepared to act in my official HWFMR capacity to get the So Cal group up there.

john and Jenn, I would love to meet you. if you need ANYTHING, and your in So cal, I will be more then happy to oblige. otherwise, I'm sure you can get the whole cost of your flight out covered by your fellow rennislt follwers and HWFM team members. count me in for 20. and count me in for this rumble.

We might be able to come out if it isn't the 1st weekend in October. We'll be in Williamsburg, VA with Max for the 356 Registry's East Coast holiday. Anyway, My family is still all back in California and they have been screaming for us to come out and visit at least twice this year so maybe we could make it a join adventure. Hey I'd love to meet ALL you guys in person!
