Default Strange aluminum guages

Have you guys ever seen these alumin guages? ... (they came with my new TT)
They look more 'frosty' than the OEM 'aluminum package' guages and do not have the cuts for the warning lights. So all the guages look much more bare and the warning/idiot lights shine thru the guages.

any idea who makes these? Are they good? Im still not sure if i like them more than the OEM ones that i had on my c2?
