Hi Riccardo et al,
Could you post directions to get there please, as I would like to come although I may be a little late.

I got my car back from GT one. Yippee.
I have to say that on first impressions I whole-heartedly agree with the positive impressions given by others. They seemed to know what they were doing, were efficient and personable.
More importantly they have sorted my car without fuss.
Rob, I saw your car there. I now know what people mean when they describe noisy tappets! I hope it gets sorted out.

Hope to see you all later.
Does anyone mind if I bring along a digital camera, with the aim of posting a pic on this board?

Regards
Tito.

Tito & Riccardo

Yes tonight's still on. I know John's wife has been in hospital, but I think that he will make it anyway.

Tito, there's no problem in bringing a digital camera, apart from the damage that our ugly mugs might do to the lens.

The Blue Ball Pub is in Deans Lane Walton on the Hill, Surrey. It's a 5 minute drive from Junction 8 of the M25. It's close to Walton Heath golf course. Deans Lane runs between Mere Road(B2220) and the Dorking Road(B2032), both of which are spurs of the A217 Brighton Road.

Tito and others,

Good, hope to see you there, think the idea of a camera could be good (albeit embarassing?).

Following the link below should take you to a map of the street the pub is on.

Dean's Lane

Hmmm, seems not to work very well! Just try copying and pasting then:

Hi Guys !!

Glad to hear there will be a few of us there tonight, I'm still up for it.
Battery is on charge at the moment as it was a little flat after a month or so of non-use

Yes, myself and Steve have been here a few times. As posted before its where the '911 & Porsche World' hold their meets every couple of months.
The car park is lit, but not real bright.
I'm sure a digi camera can cope with the lighting though - if not use a flash or simply adjust the contrast afterwards using something like photoshop...

Mine will be the dirty Iris blue job with Turbo4 tail (must get around to washing it this weekend).

If you guys want, give me a mail direct and I'll post you my mobile number, incase you need some help finding the place.

Cheers,
John (who will also be bringing his camera!)
