Anyone here able to detail the proceedure for testing the throttle position sensor?
Or in short, I could do with the following information.
1. What should the voltage be at the supply for the throttle position sensor (pin 12 on the DME/ECU)?
2. What should the voltage be on the feedback from the throttle sensor at idle (read at pin 53 on the DME/ECU)?
3. What should the voltage be on the feedback from the throttle sensor at full throttle (WOT) be (read at pin 53 on the DME/ECU)?
Anyone got the manual on CD I can borrow (or buy) until I can get a copy of the manuals in original paper format?? Its just I hate to keep asking for this info, but you know what its like when your trying to get on with a car, and I am told it could be 3 or more months before I will have my manuals
(
The annoying bit is that I have the 944, 968, 964, 911SC and other original factory manuals on the garage book shelf (and the CD versions also in the office!) and the latest toy needs yet another one (993) and its the only one needing work at the moment
(
Anyway, I hope someone can help!
Jon
