If you have a "Garage Queen" Do not use magnetics!!

It doesn't matter how clean you keep them and the surface of the car, you are going to get scratches. Just a small speck of dirt on either surface combined with movement of the car will leave small imperfections. I agree with the shoe polish, the car doesn't deserve that!

Go to you nearest sign or graphics shop, tell them you want a standard type style, 10" high, standard color, intermediate vinyl. Cost should be about $20 for 3 sets. Apply it directly to a waxed car. Take it off when weekend over. Looks great and will not damage the paint. (Unless you have had a cheap repaint, bondo...)

This is part of what I do for a living and I will not put magnetics on a "queen". You're asking for trouble. Vinyl will not hurt the paint, looks great for pictures. I change car graphics week to week and month to month on stock paint and never have a problem.

For the type of decal Laura mentions, check out
www.fastmeatballs.com. I used 2 sets in over 20 DE days last year and one set is still good to go.
