What a wonderful weekend. I didn't even let the ticket south of Santa Maria ruin it.
Great people, great cars, beautiful weather, it couldn't get much better. We have to do this again.
Here are some more pictures, not quite as good as Steve's or Carlos.

Man Glad I did not go your way. I had to pass a TON of people on
the 46 over to Bakersfield. Had my V1 the whole way. I got a kick
on the passing lanes. 15 cars heading down the lane- as soon as we get
to the passing lane 14 cars move to the left at once to pass the ONE
car doing 55, everyone else is doing 56. Right lane is now clear for
me to pick off 13 of the passers! I usually hate when they do that
in a normal auto, but they are just clearing the lane for the TT!!
I was able to pass 20 or so cars in two passing lanes just out
of Pass the Marbles (pasa robles) and get on my way! This car is
such a JOY!
Randy sorry about your ticket but at least 80 is traffic school
qualifying right!
Great to meet you and your wife!

How do they pull you over? I'm assuming they radio for a unit up ahead and then they do the nasty deed? I think Valentine will need to upgrade their units for the air as well.

The observer simply presses a button when your car goes over a target, then a second button when you cross the next target. This immediately brings up your speed. Depending on your speed, traffic, and the observer's mood, they call ahead for a unit to pull you over with the paperwork.
Only defenses are:
A) Instrument flying conditions
B) Darkness
C) Shadows on the roadway
D) Side mirrors canted up to see if they're behind you
E) Luck
For me, it was E), Luck

Bummer, Randy! I know we love those loud colors....guess this is the price? I'm still knocking on wood. By contrast, we got stuck in nasty traffic on Sunday coming up on SantaBarby. Here's to traffic school
