I almost forgot. I already have the red car, maybe I switch out my cashmere interior for dark blue and put some blue pinstripes down the side of my car!! Or wait, I could send my wheels back to HRE and have them change the inners to dark blue paint! Yeah, that's it, that's the ticket!!!

And, yes, I'm kidding.

I posted about this car on the TT forum last weekend. I went down to take a look at it.

You have to see it. Sounds out of contol with the red interior, but it works with the Iris Blue exterior. The dark blue carpet helps too.

I liked it, and I am fairly conservative with my colors.

I have observed a 996 locally in speed yellow with a salmon interior and blue cab top. The dealer in Honolulu said that they required a $15,000 non-refundable deposit from buyer when he ordered it because it was an "unusual" color combo. I don't blame them either.

I think the ext. color is outstanding, however, between the wood trim, red leather and the matching ext. colored carpet...............I am just at a loss for words! To each there own I suppose! Best wishes - Jay Gratton

Steve, I think you type too much and I would guess that you have never even seen a Porsche wood package in person. It sure beats your vinyl

You guys think that this Porsche is bad, you should see what someone did to the 996 they are currently ripping on the General Porsche Discussions forum.
Check out the thread "Yeah Baby. Let's ****". Now THAT'S BAD!!!
Really bad............................ It's been for sale for a long time and I'm sure most of you have seen it already posted on Rennlist before. Yuck. Why???

My humblest apologies to Jago1244 and Grateful Jed. I truly didn't know that any modern Porsches had wood dash trim, but I was wrong. My tone was wrong, and I was wrong. Sorry - really didn't mean to offend, but I did.

Regretfully yours,
Steve
