Boris, When I had my 993, I always ran at the track with used Hoosiers. I have a supplier that will ship them to you from the east coast, ends up costing like $80 a tire. They always lasted a long time for me and since I wasn't racing, I never needed the extra gription that a new tire afforded - especially at $250 a tire. Let me know and will email you the contact info as he is not a board sponsor.

Place right in Charleston, SC that supplies racing tires. It Bob Woodman Tires. Actually he lives down the street from me. If you can not find his website email me and I forward it to you.

The other thing about the Bob Chick tires is that most of them are from the Grand AM Cup and they use a different compound from the normal Hoosiers.
These tires are a bit harder and have a longer treadlife, which is a good thing for DE's.
