Question FVD 993 Short Shifter

I recently installed a FVD Short Shifter in my 993 three (3)days before a DE. Everything went fine on Saturday but, after my second session on Sunday and off track, the short shifter broke. Luckily I had the OE Shifter close by and was able to make the replacement at the track and only missed 1 session. I am interested in others feedback regarding the quality of the FVD products. Should I consider this an isolated incidence and make the change again or forget the short shifter?

I have had a short shifter from FVD (the one specifically for the C4, 4S, and Turbo cars) installed in my TT for about a year now through street driving (some fairly aggressive) and through one DE. Installed by my shop. No problems at all. Wish the throws were even shorter and the action more slide bolt-like (a la the short shifter in my old 951, sigh).
