Post Richard Sloan of New Haven, CT

Has anyone dealt with this fellow in purchasing a car. He has a very nice selection of low mileage P-cars and one is of possible interest to me.

In addition, if anyone lives in the New Haven area, where would they recommend I have a PPI done.

Thanks,
Hal

I met Richard about a year and half ago. He's a very nice guy, very knowledgeable about Porsches. He does represent some cars for their owners, others he has in his own inventory. He works with a partner who has a dealer's license in Connecticut. I felt very comfortable talking with him; he was interested in my summer yellow 88 Carrera and I was interested in a 95 C2 he had. His prices tend to be somewhat above what a bargain hunter might be interested in, but the cars he has are high quality and he's really upfront about any issues that may exist. I watched him as he gave my Carrera the once-over and he definitely knew what to look for,

I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him ... ymmv.

Vic,

Thanks for the quick response. I have found him to be upfront about the car I am interested in, even to the point of acknowledging a possible clutch situation.
