I had been dying to see a CGT in person. I finally got to see one in the flesh the same day I took delivery of my turbo cab. The salesman and I pulled my car into the service area to tinker with a few things and, lo and behold, there was a CGT in the garage. It was a huge distraction. I was supposed to be listening to Mike explain various aspects of my new car but I kept staring at the CGT. That's why I still don't know how to work this darn navigation system or put on the silly windscreen.

Hey Pin,
Did you take the pictures? It looks like it was over by Menlo Park. When I got my car aligned last week I went by Carlsen Porsche and they were washing a CGT that was in the shop for some body paint. Actually the front bumper needed to be repainted. I was able to get up pretty close and watched the Porsche Tech take the car out for a quick spin. The car is totally quite until you hit the gas. Then it sounds like a Formula 1 car. Pretty Awesome!

Hey Scott,
No, I didn't take those pictures, I got those pictures from VW Vortex forum
You were saying that they were repainting the front bumper of CGT at Carlsen? Did you know why?
I haven't seen one in person yet. Hopefully there'll be one at the Concorso Italiano this August

Hey Pin,
Yeah I guess the owner didn't realize how low the car is and he chipped the front bumper so they had to repaint it, according to the paint guys we talked to. We standing around and were watching the Tech guy warm the car up and then he took it for a spin. Car is totally awesome. Definitely doesn't sound like a Porsche.
The wheel lock rings are interesting. They're different color. If I recall correctly the driver side has Blue anodized lock rings and the passenger side has Red anodized lock rings.
The whole car is tight. The Pictures look good. but seeing it in person is 20X better especially when it's on the road.

Pin,
I wouldn't mind checking the Concorso Italiano. I should be around we should get a bunch of folks to Cruz down there and check it out. Talking about HOTWheel city, that weekend is always cool to be in the mix there and showing off the exotic cars.
