Post passenger side waterleak ?

i know there are a few posts on this - i took up my pass side mats including insulation front and rear last week. i found alot of water soaked up in the insulation - so bad that the insulation was riuned with cracks and falling apart so i ripped them out and tossed them. with floor boards exposed i drove the car around to see if i can discover where the leak was coming from. i usually garage my car - so i am not exposed to the rain that much. this weekend i decided to investigate further with a car wash. my car was parked uphill a bit. well i began spraying the car with a hose starting from the pass rear and observing for any leaks - nothing ! when i got to spray the front of the car near the windshield and hood where the airvents are located i discovered on the inside of my car water. it was coming from under the rear side of pass seat - just where the seat is mounted in- dripping to the rear - b/c it was the most dependent position. so i narrowed it down to either the windsheild or the hood possibly those airvents. i checked almost everything. nothing else in the interior was wet. i stopped my investigation there - i got to get ready for a party !
could anyone chime in ?
thanks

ok - i will cross my fingers....
i think i may have it. in the trunk/hood - i took all the carpet out - sprayed the front of the car- and wala! - drips of water from the front of the car makes its way onto the trunk floor - accumulates -then if your on an incline enough the water makes it to the rear of the trunk. it gets between some sheetmetal then into the cabin. the are some drains in the trunk that should have stopped the water making it to the rear - but the water took a different route bypassing all the plugs. i also noticed most of my rubber dingy's were missing - although i dont know if that makes much of a difference! solution - i siliconed the area on the inside of the trunk where the water was coming in from - right behind the front bumber. another solution -is i could drill another drain right in the path of the water - so it cant make its way to the rear. unbelievable ! something so small over time soaked my entire passenger side floor. hopefully this is it !
thanks
