Default Somewhat OT, but had to share..

For some time I have been working on a number of carbon fiber projects for my 993 and since the racing season started, work has me really busy. I have not had much time at all to steam ahead on these parts.

Recently my Dad, who is in the Corvette C-5 crowd, was asked by a local shop near him to make some C-5 goodies. Anyhow, long story short, these bits are really quick and easy compared to the 993 bits I am working on. This weekend I banged the first two prototypes out in my garage.

Check it out...

First the tooling:

I'd love to see some pedal or floorboards! Your completed piece looks great, keep us posted.

Lets see....on my 993 project list are:

RS sideskirts (one side tooling done, very intricate part to tool up for)
Rear decklid (have a good spare to splash tool from, this one not hard)
Sunroof panel (have a good spare to splash tool from, thanks Skip!)
Door sills (I have drawings done, this is an easy one)
Footbox panel (A really easy 2D part, need a spare to use for this one)
Dead pedal (not sure if there is much demand?)
Throttle pedal extension (I have a protoype on my car now)
RS splitters and tail (this one would take some time, but very possible. Splitters would be repairable, very easy repair)

Now all I need is the time Maybe I need some cheering from you guys to get to it

Rah! Rah! Rah! GOOOOOOO.... CHRIS!!!
Is that enough to get you going?

Some very cool parts you have planned. I'd be interested on getting more specifics on them... approx. price/weight/time frame???

Nice work.

and one sample of Blue/Black and Red/Black twill

Please excuse this first colored fabric article as the fabric 'sleezed' on me. Still working on better manufacturing methods..

Hey Chris,
I have a stock wooden floorboard panel for you if you still need it. E-mail me your address. Also I might be interested in some custom parts. Mostly flat panels in specific sizes.
