Cruise Control Revisited
I just took my car in for its 30K service the other day. I asked the dealer to take a look at the cruise control as it has never worked. They added it to my look-see list. They came up with the following:
Apparently the device that holds the throttle cable in place is not functioning. Anyone know the proper name for this device... I just cant remember right now. either way, the dealer said the cost for the replacement device is around $560 US and the labor would be an additional $400 as it is difficult to replace.
Anyone have any ideas or experienced this problem? for $900+ dollars is this really worth replacing?
