Porsche at The British Motor Show
Slightly off topic for the 993 board. I was in the UK yesterday and visited the British Motor Show in Birmingham. Porsche had a very big stand which include almost all of their current model range.
What caught me by surpirse was a world debut of the 996 Turbo S. It looked like the standard car with some options (including the 450 bhp upgrade) with an "S" stuck on the back.
I include some pictures below and will also post some of the interesting non-Porsche stuff.
GT3RS, GT3 and GT2
Carrera GT
996 Turbo S

Nice pics, thanks. Did you happen to notice the finish on the Turbo S wheels? Are they the same brilliant silver paint as the 993 Turbo S's?

Viken,
Yes, I noticed they were different to the standard 996, but didn't relate them to the 993 Turbo S. I think the 993 Turbo S was more of a stand alone car which had individuality in terms of the engine and body styling. The 996 Turbo S is merely a standard turbo with some of the options thrown in and an "S" stuck on the back. That's not to say I wouldn't want one!
