I have 2 sets of Firestone 500's and they are great. Had PS4S's before them and really can't notice any difference on my street driven 993.

I had several sets of Sumitomo HRZ 3s on my 993 and loved them, especially the price. When they discontinued them I went with Firestone Firehawk Indy on Tire Rack's recommendation and don't like them. I'll porobably go back to Sumitomo and try the HTR Z5

I run these DWS06s on my 993. Been good in the variable weather in the mountains. I can't take a road trip here in the mountains on a strictly summer tire and feel safe. The performance hit is ok with me.

I have a buddy who is a better driver than probably anyone on this forum (significant racing experience) who is very impressed by these and recommended them. No personal experience yet.

The PS2s are perfect for my needs, 80% daily driver, 20% fun Canyon romps. I can't recommend them enough.

(Sorry about the huge font size of my comment, I'm not sure why it appears the way it does, but I promise, I'm not yelling!)

Another thumbs up for the Continental Extreme Contact tires. Been through two sets now as a daily driver and spirited driver. Excellent grip for the street and canyons, excellent feel and predictability, and excellent wear. Not only do I highly recommend them, I will buy them yet again when my existing set wears.

I have a set of General G-Max RS on my ‘97 C2. They are great dry road summer tires (I haven’t driven them in wet conditions). One thing to be aware of: they are warm-weather tires. General Tire does not recommend them for ambient temps below 40f, and Tire Rack says the sidewalls can actually incur damage if used at or below freezing.
Overall, though, I am enjoying these tires. They have great grip, a nice ride and are relatively quiet. Pretty good price, too.

That is what I referenced above and what I am running. Same experience as others.
