993 Power Steering
My power steering comes on and off. I sometimes hear a high pitch noise of belts slipping when I turn the wheel all the way. Also if I rev the engine, I can get it to come back temporarily. What should I be looking at to try and correct this problem. Thanks!

Basically, the same things you'd be doing on a Chevy pick-up or any other car with power steering. First, check the power steering fluid level. Second, if you hear squealing, have the power steering belt checked. This is one royal PITA to get at on a 993, but if it's squealing, it could be going.
