Steve, powdercoating my wheels has been on my mind ever since you sent me that pic. Think I'm going to look into it if you don't mind having a clone out there.

"Twins"....No problem only if your Danny and I'm Arnold . Hmmmm on second thought you've got the C4S and I've got the C2S . Just remember to send me a photo when the deed is done.

p_carfan,
can you post a pic of your car from the rear? Those exhaust tips look interesting -- is it some weird angle with the camera, or are they dual tips in each side?

Temple-

Here ya' go.....

The tips were bought on eBay, the guy makes 'em custom. I don't really like them they seem a 'tad short. I've taken them off and put the factory wide body motor sound tips, powder coated black on for now. We'll see how long the powder lasts on the ss tips.

Very nice looking wheels, particularly against the red. How tolerant is the finish to the inevitable scratching that will come when you need to remove a wheel?

It's my understanding that powder coating is far more durable than paint, realistically the level of care taken is the major factor (no gorillas please ) .

I agree they look very SWEEEEEET! Now I know what I'm doing to my spare OEM Cup II wheels!

Please post a pic of your black powdercoated MSP oval exhaust tips.
