Viken:

Where can I find original list prices, option codes, and specifications for a 98 c4s??

Is it only a 111 lb. weight penalty with the 993 C4 system, for example?

TIA,
Chris

Chris,

I don't know of a place online where you can see original specs. The original base price was $73,100 and the prices of the options were listed on the order guides then.

As for the weight, the factory published figures were:

C2: 3,064 lb
C4: 3,175 lb
C4S: 3,197 lb

You must remember that these figures are usually for a bare car with no optional equipment. As such, I find the published figures of little value other than a reference point.
