As an alternative, get the H3s from someone like liteswap and the little marker lights can be upgraded by using a BMW part (10w halogen bulb). I do not remember the part number but I posted it a while ago. Use the search.
i went through this before on my car, you can also get brighter bulbs from your delaler. ask for the 996 in headlight positioning bulb. the wattage is higher. they fit our cars socket
and i was told BMW has an even brighter one.
as for the fog light, use the sylvania silver star bulbs, they are much better looking and match the litronic look

I have put in PIAA (Extreme white) H3.
The output is supposed to be 100W.
They work very well and are amazing.
